Wooden Puzzles of Distinction

Apparently a relation to the Triple Trouble but with its own level of difficulty. Six pieces weaving together to form a cube. As with many of our puzzles, the difficulty lies in rebuilding after you have taken it apart.

Appears to be a large version of the standard 'Woodchuck', the Kinsman actually contains a superbly frustrating surprise. Annoyingly awkward pieces mean that this only takes the visual appearance of the Chuck Family and does not build with the same logical system. A relation with a much more complicated personality.

Just Three pieces come together to form this interesting looking corner piece.

A new 14 piece burr type puzzle. Similiar to Holey Cross but with a different building system. Contrasting centre pieces.

An 18 piece burr puzzle which takes the traditional burr theory to new heights. Using 2 contrasting woods a familiar chequered pattern is formed on all faces.

A complex 9 piece interlocking cube-assembly giving the appearance of a wooden 'Rubik'. However, that is where the similarity ends. Force free dismantling of the cube will soon make the importance of 'sequence' become very apparent. A factor which really comes into play when trying to re-build.

Of a similar nature to the Mini Puzzler - Highly Strung but with more class and a different solution. 27 cubes joined by an elastic cord must be arranged to form one large with a continuous band of one colour wood running around the edge. At the same time, three cubes of a contrasting coloured wood need to form a diagonal line through the centre of the cube

A really complex cube consisting of only 6 pieces and requiring 5 of them to be moved before one can be removed. The real problem begins when reassembling the puzzle to its original form.

This puzzle is a beautifully constructed cube in a chequerboard design of dark and light wood. It has a number of tricky pieces and a concealed marble which makes the objective a little more difficult. Can you hold a ball in the King's Court?

6 identical pieces forming an ornamental star. It is important for your left hand to know what your right is doing when attempting this puzzle.

12 identical pieces providing an elegant puzzle in complete symmetry. Don't get wholly cross trying to make the Holey Cross whole.

The interlaced wood forms a series of caverns. This cube will separate into halves, then quarters and each quarter into 3 individual pieces.

A five piece pyramid puzzle with an objective that is very easy to visualise but very difficult to achieve. A fine piece of angular artistry within which it is easy to lose your bearings.
