Cmetrick is a puzzle consisting of 9 spheres arranged in a 3x3 square. By spinning rows and columns, the spheres colored faces get scrambled. In the IC, the same color shows on top, right, left, front, back, and bottom of all spheres.

Metal, wire and nail puzzlesThese types of puzzles are usually disentanglement puzzles - although there are some very nice interlocking puzzles and trick puzzles around. The metal has a strength that plastic does not, so they stand up to rougher handling, and can be a better puzzle for a child. There is less chance that a nail puzzle will be broken, although they should still be treated with respect as most puzzlers will reach a stage where they just want to throw the puzzle across the room! Wire puzzles test the logical thinking and sometimes the dexterity of the puzzler.See the catalogue for examples of metal puzzles - particularly the metal disentanglement section and the Tavern puzzle Section |
