Metal, wire and nail puzzles

These types of puzzles are usually disentanglement puzzles - although there are some very nice interlocking puzzles and trick puzzles around. The metal has a strength that plastic does not, so they stand up to rougher handling, and can be a better puzzle for a child. There is less chance that a nail puzzle will be broken, although they should still be treated with respect as most puzzlers will reach a stage where they just want to throw the puzzle across the room!
